"Created to Live in Him, Through Him and For Him"

For by Him all things were created in heaven and on earth, [things] visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) And with this Word, God created all things. Nothing was made without the Word. Everything that was created. (John 1:3) Our world isn’t leaderless, and our purpose isn’t self-made. You know what I teach and how I live. You know what I want to do and what I believe.

Now you have diligently followed [my example, that is] you know all about my teachings, my way of life, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness. (2 Timothy 3:10) Join one another in following my example,

Brothers and sisters, together follow my example and observe those who live by it, just as you have seen by our example and pattern we gave you. (Philippians 3:17) Christ controls and compels us, because we have concluded this, that One died for all, therefore all died;

and He died for all, so that all those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised for their sake. (2 Corinthians 5:15) One thing I have asked of the LORD, and that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD [in His presence] all the days of my life, To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the LORD And to meditate in His temple. (Psalm 27:4) The righteous will flourish like the date palm [long-lived, upright and useful]; They will grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic and stable].

Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.

[Growing in grace] they will still thrive and bear fruit and prosper in old age; They will flourish and be vital and fresh [rich in trust and love and contentment];

[They are living memorials] to declare that the LORD is upright and faithful [to His promises]; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. (Psalm 92:12-15) Fair and beautiful in elevation, the joy of all the earth, Is Mount Zion [the City of David] in the far north, The city of the great King.

God within her walls makes known his strength.

As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish her forever. Selah

O God, we meditate on your unfailing Love as we worship in your Temple. (Psalm 48:2-3,8-9) As is Your name, O God, So is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness (rightness, justice).

Walk about Zion, go all around her; Count her towers,

Consider her ramparts, Go through her palaces, That you may tell the next generation [about her glory]. For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even until death. (Psalm 48:10,11-14)
