Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;

Make known His deeds among the people.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;

Speak of all His wonderful acts and devoutly praise them.

Glory in His holy name;

Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice.

Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might. (Psalm 105:1-3) Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent. (John 17:3) I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has covered me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10) I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (Galatians 2:20) I have called you by name; you are Mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.

When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,

Nor will the flame burn you.

For I am the LORD your God,

The Holy One of Israel, your Savior. (Isaiah 43:1-3) The LORD is my light and my salvation--

Whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the refuge and fortress of my life--

Whom shall I dread?

When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh,

My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.

Though an army encamp against me,

My heart will not fear;

Though war arise against me,

Even in this I am confident.

One thing I have asked of the LORD, and that I will seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the LORD [in His presence] all the days of my life,

To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the LORD

And to meditate in His temple. (Psalm 27:1-5)
