In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, with regard to the fulfillment of the times [that is, the end of history, the climax of the ages] to bring all things together in Christ, [both] things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will. (Ephesians 1:9-11) But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)

For in Him our heart rejoices, Because we trust [lean on, rely on, and are confident] in His holy name. (Psalm 33:21)
