Then he said to me, This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the LORD of hosts.
(Zechariah 4:6)
May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inners self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality]. (Ephesians 3:16)
Be guided just as it is suitable to The Gospel of The Messiah, that whether I come to see you or whether I am absent, I may hear about you, that you stand in one spirit and one soul and that you are celebrated as one in the faith of The Gospel. (Philippians 1:27)
Since we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also be guided.
If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]. (Galatians 5:25)
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say]. (Colossians 2:6)
Whoever says he lives in Christ [that is, whoever says he has accepted Him as God and Savior] ought [as a moral obligation] to walk and conduct himself just as He walked and conducted Himself. (1 John 2:6)
And I shall put my Spirit within you, and I shall cause you to walk in my commandments, and you shall keep my judgments, and you shall do them. (Ezekiel 36:27) The one who habitually keeps His commandments [obeying His word and following His precepts, abides and] remains in Him, and He in him. By this we know and have the proof that He [really] abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us [as a gift]. (1 John 3:24)
Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. (Isaiah 30:21) Live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is, to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior; because I serve the Lord: I live a life that measures up to the standard God set. (Ephesians 4:1)
So that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power] but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose]. (Romans 8:4-5)
